AN OVERVIEW OF TRANSFER FUNCTION FORMALISM FOR NONLINEAR SYSTEMS

Abstract 

Although the Laplace and Z transforms of nonlinear differential and respectively difference equations are not defined a transfer function formalism for nonlinear continuous-, discrete-time and time-delay
systems was developed recently. Such a formalism shows many properties we expect from transfer functions and in this paper we provide its overview and discuss some basic properties.
